Planning the Space

Bathroom design begins with careful measurement and evaluation of the existing layout. We review plumbing locations, structural limits, and how the space is currently used. Clearance requirements, door swings, and fixture spacing are considered early. This step ensures the revised plan improves function while staying realistic about what the space can support.

From there, we develop a layout that balances comfort and efficiency. Vanity sizing, shower dimensions, tub placement, and storage are mapped out clearly. We consider daily routines, shared use, and long-term durability when finalizing the plan. The goal is a bathroom that feels proportionate and organized, whether it’s a compact powder room or a full primary suite.

Fixtures & Material Direction

Material selections are approached with durability in mind. Tile, flooring, countertops, plumbing fixtures, and lighting are reviewed together so finishes coordinate in tone and scale. We also evaluate maintenance requirements, slip resistance, and moisture exposure to ensure materials perform well over time.

Vanity design and storage are planned intentionally. Drawer depth, interior organization, medicine cabinets, and linen storage are discussed before final specifications are made. Hardware finishes and plumbing trim are selected in coordination with lighting and accessories. This structured approach prevents mismatched details and keeps the room feeling cohesive.

Documentation And Installation Support

Documentation &
Installation Support

Clear documentation supports proper installation. We provide layout drawings, tile direction, plumbing fixture schedules, and finish details for contractor reference. Elevations and dimensions are outlined to reduce confusion once demolition begins.

During construction, we are available to clarify design intent and review any necessary adjustments. While we do not manage the build directly, we help ensure the finished bathroom reflects the agreed-upon selections and layout. Careful planning upfront reduces last-minute decisions and helps the project stay aligned with the original scope
